Internal communications: an appointment, not a string of announcements
An internal programme is judged on one thing: is it looked forward to. That requires a steady rhythm, a voice from real people and the handling of difficult subjects. We build programmes calibrated to the time actually available internally, because an ambitious programme abandoned after six months leaves things worse than before.
The three difficulties we meet most often
- Deskless workers: workshops, building sites, shift teams, who often make up the majority of an industrial workforce and receive the least information.
- Middle managers, who learn the news at the same time as their teams and so cannot explain anything.
- Difficult subjects, systematically postponed, whose silence destroys the credibility of everything else.
What we deliver
| Service | Content |
|---|---|
| Internal diagnostic | What is read, by whom, and why the rest is not. Interviews and surveys. |
| Programme | Formats, rhythms, responsibilities, annual calendar, editorial rules. |
| Production | Magazine, newsletter, video, podcast, intranet, company convention materials. |
| Handover | Training your teams to produce without us, when that is what you want. |

Our scope
What we do not do
- We do not sell or resell any employee engagement platform.
- We do not treat a management problem with communications.
- We do not accept a pace that your teams will not be able to sustain for a year.
How we work
Annual support on a fees basis, with production as needed, or a one-off project for a launch or a convention.
Frequently asked questions
Does a printed magazine still make sense?
In industry, often yes. It is the only format that reaches teams without a work email address and that circulates in the changing room and at home.
How often?
As often as you will keep up. Three issues a year delivered are better than six announced and four published.
Who writes?
We do, your teams do, or both. Over time, the best arrangement is usually an internal core team that we support.
